On September 5, 2025, Printemps was delighted to inaugurate the exhibition “Sac, sac, sac. More Than a Bag” under the Wybo Dome at Printemps Hausmann.
Through historical and contemporary pieces—on loan from fashion and leather goods houses, collectors, the ESMOD study collection, and the Printemps archives—the exhibition “Sac, sac, sac. More Than a Bag” depicts the bag from every angle and in all its technicality. Alongside rare and exceptional pieces, a rich iconography converses with legal documents (patents, drawings, model registrations) and previously unpublished interviews.
The 800 m² space is divided into twelve sections, each exploring themes such as luxury and the ordinary, the familiar and the iconic, the functional and the exceptional, diversion and illusion.
