Printemps New York is the winner of the 4th edition of LE FRENCH DESIGN Award, which recognizes the top 100 design projects for objects and spaces that promote French design around the world. A total of no fewer than 650 projects, created in nearly 90 countries, were submitted for consideration by a jury of international design experts.
Printemps entrusted interior designer Laura Gonzalez with the task of designing the setting for Printemps New York. Inspired by the style of a Parisian apartment, Printemps New York is a unique illustration of the interplay between Printemps’s 160-year history, the architectural and decorative richness of the flagship store on Boulevard Haussmann in Paris, and Laura Gonzalez’s distinctive style—all infused with a distinctly New York touch.
